Research Area
The primary rationale for JIMT to provide a space for research into the nexus between advances in technology and their use and adoption in any area of management. The idea is to encourage research that helps us to understand how technology impacts management and how management of technology affects its adoption, diffusion and impact.
The interest in this nexus arises from concepts such as the Fourth Industrial Revolution (IR 4.0) as well as the role of automation, digitalisation, robotisation, artificial intelligence (AI), intelligent automation (IA), blockchain technologies, internet of things (IoT) and other advances across a wide range of ICT areas which are impacting management processes as well as how we understand effective management in the 21st Century.
